Job Title: Machine Operator

Responsibilities

+ Mix adhesive according to specified formulas.

+ Conduct first piece inspection and set up the machine as per procedural guidelines.

+ Maintain cleanliness of machines and adjacent work areas to meet SQF standards.

+ Utilize satellite containers for managing Hazardous Waste.

+ Report any quality issues to the Operator.

+ Operate the machine for break coverage.

+ Cut cores to size, weigh and label plastic rolls properly, and palletize rolls for delivery to the finished goods area.

+ Follow GMPs, PRPs, and production SOPs while conducting final inspections of rolls.

+ Report all unsafe acts and conditions immediately.

Essential Skills

+ 6+ months of manufacturing operating experience.

+ Ability to read and take measurements accurately.

+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

+ Capability to consistently lift 50 lbs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.10 - $23.10/hr.
