Mobile Maintenance Technician - $27-33/hr

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing defective parts within the facilities, aligning, testing, and making necessary adjustments to equipment. You will troubleshoot and track conveyor belts according to facility specifications, fit bearings, align gears and shafts, and attach motors and gearboxes. You will perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, adapt and custom fabricate as needed, and contribute to creating and maintaining a cooperative team environment. You will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and production with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

+ Repair and replace defective parts within the facilities.

+ Align, test, and make necessary adjustments to equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and track conveyor belts to facility specifications.

+ Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors and gearboxes.

+ Perform preventive maintenance of all equipment.

+ Adapt and custom fabricate when necessary.

+ Create and maintain a working team environment.

+ Ensure safety, quality, and production with limited supervision.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in preventive maintenance, millwright, conveyor system.

+ Proficiency in Hydraulics, Pneumatics.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience in repair, installation, and fabrication.

+ Ability to maintain conveyor systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Welding MIG and Stick (preferred).

+ Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.

+ Experience in preventative maintenance on facilities and conveyors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
