Job Title: Field Technician** **Job Description

Join our team as a Field Technician, where you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of flow and rainfall monitoring equipment. This role requires hands-on fieldwork and the ability to travel to various sites. The position offers an opportunity to impact the community positively by preventing floods through effective monitoring.

Responsibilities

+ Install flow monitors within sewer systems and rainfall monitoring equipment.

+ Calibrate flow monitors and collect sewer flow and rainfall data, ensuring accuracy.

+ Operate and maintain flow monitors and rainfall gauges.

+ Inspect manholes using manual or telemonitoring equipment.

+ Conduct flow isolations, smoke testing, dye water flooding, and site inspections.

+ Maintain accurate and organized records following quality work instructions.

+ Ensure vehicle and equipment are safe and mechanically sound.

+ Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.

+ Travel and work overtime as needed.

+ Complete all required internal training modules.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in construction or environmental fields.

+ Proficiency with impact drills, hammer drills, and Bosch drills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with general labor, installation, plumbing, and construction.

Work Environment

You will work as part of a crew, traveling to various sites between Santa Rosa and Fresno. The company covers per diem and overnight stay expenses. The shift typically runs from 4 AM to 12:30 PM, with flexibility to start as early as 12 AM or as late as 6 AM. Be prepared to work in outdoor environments, including exposure to weather conditions and the use of protective suits in sewage areas.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
