    Aircraft Systems Field Service Technician

    **Location:** Auburn, WA

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a **Field Service Technician** to support aircraft galley systems and related components directly at a major aircraft manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll be part of a dedicated onsite team representing the system manufacturer, working closely with customer personnel to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electromechanical assemblies. This is a hands-on position that combines technical expertise with customer-facing problem-solving.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform maintenance and repair tasks using hand tools, schematics, and technical documentation.

    + Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues quickly.

    + Repair and service panels, wiring, and mechanical assemblies made of both metal and plastic.

    + Collaborate with managers and partners to develop solutions for customer-identified problems.

    + Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

    + Provide technical support and communicate clearly with customer representatives during service activities.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in electromechanical repair or service.

    + Must be eligible to obtain a Boeing badge.

    + Strong background in troubleshooting, assembly, installation, and repair of mechanical/electrical systems.

    + Aviation industry experience preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + At least 1 year of experience building or repairing electromechanical products, or equivalent education.

    + Knowledge of electrical theory and repair practices.

    + Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to work alongside customer teams.

    + Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability in dynamic environments.

    This is a Contract position based out of Renton, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
