Job Title: Carpenter/Sales Trainee

Job Description

We are seeking an individual with strong technical skills and a passion for customer service who is interested in long-term career growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to start in a hands-on role and progress into Operations Management within 3–5 years, with the potential to move into a Branch Manager role over time.

Responsibilities

+ Perform carpentry work on restoration and build projects with precision and quality.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

+ Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate micro-sales skills.

+ Collaborate with team members and maintain a client-focused approach.

+ Support operational and sales functions beyond traditional carpentry tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in builds and restoration projects.

+ Hands-on field experience and problem-solving ability.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Client-facing experience with ability to manage expectations.

+ Teachable, adaptable, and eager to learn operations and sales.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in project development and construction.

+ Understanding of project management and site development.

+ Familiarity with business development and general contractor roles.

+ Proficiency in project coordination and preconstruction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yakima, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
