Job Title: Production Helper** **Job Description

As a Production Helper, you will be responsible for material handling and machine operation. Your duties will include packaging and labeling finished products, preparing them for shipping, and assisting with the setup and operation of automated production machinery. This machinery applies weatherizing solutions to large paper rolls used in wrapping concrete forms for the construction industry. Additional responsibilities include shop cleanup, general shop assistance, and operating a forklift to move materials.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operation.

+ Forklift operation skills.

+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

+ General labor and materials handling skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Industrial machinery operation experience.

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial manufacturing environment with heavy machinery. Employees must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety shoes, hard hats, earplugs, and safety glasses. The work schedule rotates between three shifts every 8 weeks: Day (6:45 AM – 3:00 PM), Swing (2:45 PM – 11:00 PM), and Night (10:45 PM – 7:00 AM). The rotation progresses from Night to Swing to Day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.80 - $24.80/hr.
