    Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

     

    As a General Production Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for supplying stock for all machines, ensuring machines have the correct corrugated materials, and assisting with staging materials for upcoming jobs. Your collaboration with prepress will ensure the correct die is prepared, stocked, and corrugated. Additionally, you will manage morning counts of stock, move and scan loads into our AVP system, and handle finished goods by scanning them into appropriate rack areas. Your role will also involve maintaining pallet and corrugated inventory, unloading and organizing board trucks, and managing the staging and loading of outgoing loads.

    Responsibilities

    + Get stock for all machines.

    + Ensure all machines have correct corrugated materials.

    + Assist with staging the correct materials for upcoming jobs.

    + Work with prepress to stage, stock, and corrugate the correct die.

    + Tend to bales.

    + Conduct morning counts of stock.

    + Move and scan loads into the AVP system.

    + Organize finished goods and scan them into correct rack areas.

    + Maintain pallet inventory.

    + Monitor corrugated inventory.

    + Unload board trucks and organize them into correct areas.

    + Stage outgoing loads.

    + Load outgoing loads.

    Essential Skills

    + Warehouse and material handling experience.

    + General production knowledge.

    + Understanding of warehouse inventory control.

    + Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

    + Proficiency in forklift operation.

    + Machine operation skills.

    + Packaging and inspection expertise.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2-3 years of relative warehouse or material handling experience.

    + General labor and cleaning skills.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
