We are currently seeking a*Staff Nurse*to join ourInterventional Radiology (IR) unit.

This position is a*0.7 FTE (7 shifts/ pay period), 8-hour shifts, Days with On Call Per Unit Policy requirement.*

*_RESPONSIBILITIES:_*

Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:

* Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health

* Preventing illness and injury

* Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response

* Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others

* Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care

*_QUALIFICATIONS:_*

/*Minimum Qualifications:*/

* 1 year of**recent_adult ICU_***_or Interventional Radiology_*professional nursing (RN) experienceincludingexperience managing drips, ventrics, and vents

* *ACLS certification required*

* Ability to wear lead aprons during cases and able to stand for long period of time and assist with moving patients, including wheelchairs, beds, and carts

* Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota

* Procedures/Sedation experience

* Pediatric experience/PALS certification*(PALS certification required within 6 months of start into position)*

* Certification in area of clinical specialty

* BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
