As a Development Financial Analysis, Senior Associate in the Global Real Estate (GRE) Development Finance team, you will support the financial management of major real estate projects, including the renovation of 383 Madison Avenue and other headquarters-related initiatives. You will prepare high-impact presentations, conduct ad-hoc financial analyses, and support financial reporting and budgeting processes in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities to drive the success of the broader development program.
Job responsibilities
+ Create clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations for senior management and project stakeholders using PowerPoint, synthesizing complex financial data and project updates.
+ Perform ad hoc analyses to support project decision-making, including scenario and sensitivity modeling and financial impact assessments.
+ Develop expertise in the GRE project financial management system, responding quickly to data and analysis requests from senior management and interpreting system data for trend analysis and metric reporting.
+ Build and maintain robust financial models in Excel, incorporating project data and assumptions to forecast depreciation, cashflow, and identify early indicators of project performance.
+ Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and budgeting processes for Midtown projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency in forecasts and budget submissions.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Possess 5+ years of relevant finance experience
+ Hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a related discipline.
+ Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, data analysis) and PowerPoint (presentation development).
+ Exhibit experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and familiarity with project management/financial data systems.
+ Apply strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
+ Show attention to detail, proactivity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Collaborate effectively as a team player and partner with broader Finance and project teams.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Experience preferably in real estate development and construction of large-scale projects.
+ Familiarity with GRE project financial management systems.
+ Ability to work independently and drive process improvements.
+ Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal.
