    Infrastructure Engineer (VMware)

    Hybrid: 3 Days in 2 Days remote

    6 Month Contract to Hire

     

    Pay Rate: $41-45

    Description

    We are seeking an Information Security Engineer with a strong technical experience to support the build-out of Wells Fargo’s next-generation security infrastructure. This role focuses on engineering elastic pods, virtualization, and data flow systems, while collaborating with engineers to design secure workflows.

     

    Skills

     

    + VMware

    Top Skills Details:

    1. VMware experience- They are transitioning from standard VM configuration to pods because you can increase and decrease the size of it.

    2. Linux experience

    3. Experience testing and in a testing environment- they will be testing new versions when they come down. As they transition to additional modules for the applications they will be testing those so it is a true engineering role

    4. Experience building virtual machines

    5. Collaborate with engineers on workflow diagrams and system architecture.

    Nice to Have's:

    + Scripting languages such as JSON, but really any scripting languages

    + Experience with Elastic Pods specifically

    + Assist in tuning systems with AI/Machine Learning techniques

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $41.09 - $45.00/hr.
