    Key Responsibilities:

    + This is primarily a clinical position covering outpatient services for general neurology patients with some inpatient evaluation and management of children in our EMU.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Assistant Professor

    + 0 - 4 years of experience as an attending physician (assistant professor)

    + Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

    + Board Eligibility in Neurology with a Special Competence in Child Neurology.

    Associate Professor

    + 4 - 6 years of experience as an attending physician and academic qualifications to fulfill requirements of associate professor rank

    + Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

    + Board Eligibility in Neurology with a Special Competence in Child Neurology.

    Professor

    + 6 - 8 years of experience as an attending physician and academic qualifications to fulfill requirements of professor rank

    + Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

    + Board Eligibility in Neurology with a Special Competence in Child Neurology.

    **_Associate Professor:_** _$250,000 - $290,000_

    **_Professor:_** _$282,000 - $330,000_

     

    _The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt._

    The University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks a general PediatricNeurologist to join our group of pediatric neurologists, including twoepileptologists and three nurse practitioners at their growing Children'sHospital Colorado, Colorado Springs site. Our busy outpatient practice is located in a multidisciplinary ambulatorycenter facilitating collaboration with other pediatric subspecialists includingDevelopmental and Behavioral pediatrics, Genetics and Neurosurgery. Westaff a 4 bed EMU and consult for a 121 bed free standing Children'shospital including a 16 bed PICU a 50 bed NICU and a level 2 traumapediatric emergency department.
