    We are seeking a motivated and customer-obsessed **Product Marketing Manager** to join the **Surface Marketing team** at Microsoft. This **Go-To-Market role** is ideal for someone with **foundational experience** in **commercial sales and device product marketing** who is ready to take **ownership** of **strategic initiatives** and contribute to the success of **Surface devices** across **enterprise and small business commercial segments** .     As part of this team, you’ll help execute programs and work tirelessly to make Surface easier to buy and sell every day. You will help define value propositions, shape product messaging, and support go-to-market execution at global scale in collaboration with cross-functional teams.     Responsibilities

    **Field Enablement:** Help prepare readiness materials, device seeding and sales programs, and support field teams with product information and marketing assets.

    **Program Marketing Support** : Assist in the development and execution of marketing programs for Surface products, ensuring alignment with business goals.

    **Customer Insights** : Review field feedback to understand customer needs and pain points, helping define value propositions and programs that resonate.

    **Messaging and Storytelling:** Support the creation of product messaging, demos, and storytelling assets that highlight Surface innovation.

    **Competitive Awareness** : Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform positioning and marketing tactics.

    **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with product marketing, partner marketing, integrated marketing, and sales teams to support goals.

    **Marketing Operations:** Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights for optimization and learning.

    Qualifications

    Required/minimum qualifications

    + Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business

    + OR equivalent experience

    Additional or preferred qualifications

    + Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

    + OR equivalent experience

    + 3+ years experience in product marketing, with a focus on technology devices and services

     

    Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
