We are looking for a **Senior Software Engineer** to join our team!

Responsibilities

+ Design and implementation of scalable, reliable, secure, and compliant AI infrastructure.

+ Build solutions, help create tools, help automate issue detection and diagnosis, to enable customers or support to self-resolve the issues.

+ Identify emerging trends or re-occurring escalation scenarios and drive engineering opportunities to mitigate and/or eliminate them. This can include a range of potential work item categories; such as self-healing mechanisms, self-serve, transparency, automation, and/or increasing the capabilities for Azure support.

+ Contribute to product improvements by filing impactful bugs, design change requests, and fix and ship them to production, preventing customers from being impacted.

+ Able to work well in challenging situations while exhibiting flexibility and the ability to tolerate and manage through ambiguity and uncertainty.

+ Beyond extensive technical and product focus, this role requires the ability to frame and communicate issues and recommendations clearly and concisely, show exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to build broad relationships with the right influencers, leveraging those relationships to impact key business results.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or Python,

+ OR equivalent experience.

**Other Requirements:** Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

+ **Microsoft Cloud Background Check:** This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience designing large scale, distributed systems

+ OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience designing large scale, distributed systems

+ OR equivalent experience.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
