    Pay Rate: $50/hour

     

    Hours: 40 hours per week

     

    Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 school year

     

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacherto join our team and provide exceptional educational services to students withspecial needs in grades K–12. Under the direction of the Special EducationProgram Administrator, you will play a key role in planning and implementingindividualized programs, delivering specialized instruction, and collaboratingwith general education staff to ensure student success.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students

    + Provide direct instruction and support tailored to student needs

    + Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers

    + Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and district regulations

    + Participate in team meetings and contribute to program planning

    Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid state teaching certificate as required by state/district regulations

    + Preferred certifications:

    + Standard Elementary Teaching

    + Standard Secondary Teaching

    + Standard Special Teaching

    + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)

    + Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)

    + Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Current CPR certification, TB test, and health certificate (as applicable)

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
