Special Education Teacher – Elementary

Start Date: ASAP | Duration: Through 2025–26 School Year

Schedule: Full-Time (35 hrs/week)

Highlights:

+ Impactful Role: Support K–12 students with special needs through individualized instruction and collaborative planning.

+ Team Environment: Work closely with general education staff, families, and support teams to ensure student success.

+ Locations: Multiple elementary schools

Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

+ Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learners.

+ Collect and analyze student performance data to guide instruction.

+ Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Requirements:

+ MSDE Certification with Special Education endorsement (no conditional/provisional licenses).

+ Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

+ Minimum 1 year of SPED teaching experience.
