We are seeking an energetic, skilledEquipment Sanitationfor our facility in Arkansas City, KS.

Main functions:

Equipment Sanitation is responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safe environment of the facility, surrounding area and equipment.

Shift - 6am-2pm or 8am-4pmWe operate 24/7.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Objectives:

+ Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak

+ Participate in formulating and administering division’s short and long range goals and objectives for business growth

+ Comply with KanPak policies & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well as state and federal law to ensure food safety and food defense in plant.

+ Comply with SOP’s.

+ Prepare for state, federal and customer inspections.

+ Disassemble and reassemble equipment to remove all remnants of product in machines and surrounding area.

+ Clean and sanitize walls, shelves, racks conveyor belts, floors and all other equipment and machinery in production rooms.

+ Properly handle products, use equipment, keep accurate logs and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food safety guidelines.

+ Communicate potential issues, concerns, or risks with supervisor to achieve resolution.

+ Consistently works with chemicals on a daily basis, must wear proper PPE while handling Chemicals.

+ Perform related duties as required. Related duties as required are duties that may not be specifically listed in the position description, but are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s classification of work.

Employment Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ 1 year of Experience in the Manufacturing Industry

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
