Job Summary:
The Operations Support Specialist coordinates with the sales support and production groups to facilitate job order management, job closing, and product shipment transactions within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position supports efforts to manage customer order specifications as they apply to operations planning and ensures proper job closing and shipment planning transactions are performed for non-OEM Fecon product lines.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Bridges communication between production and sales support by providing updates on shipped units, existing order status, challenges, and production forecasting to regional managers and sales support staff.
+ Creates and annotates production job packets to fulfill incoming sales orders.
+ Works with engineering to determine correct excavator mount configurations, creates mount job orders in the ERP system, and coordinates with the production planner to determine due dates.
+ Ensures proper closure of finished production jobs and properly archives associated test information.
+ Coordinates shipment requirements with input from regional managers; relays that information to the shipping team and creates picklists for non-OEM Fecon products.
+ Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
+ Experience with MS Office is required.
+ Strong organizational insight and problem-solving ability.
+ Excellent communication skills.
Education and Experience:
+ High school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
+ Three years in a Production Planning or Scheduling Manufacturing Environment desired but willing to train the right applicant.
