Contract and Finance Coordinator

General Description: To perform Compliance and Finance contract processing, general accounting and administrative duties, and provide support to Managers, as necessary. This role is a critical component of the administrative/compliance/finance and sales teams. As such, your job responsibilities and hours may occasionally be altered to help others complete their duties. The company’s current information management system is a large part of the job, so computer training will be necessary to efficiently perform your duties. From time to time, this position may require travel to other offices inside the Chicagoland area.

+ Location: 6300 N. River Road, Rosemont, IL 60018

+ Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

+ Salary: $20-23/hr

Reports to: Contract & Finance Supervisor (Primary) & Compliance & Consumer Finance Manager (Secondary)

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

+ Process customer contracts daily within the company system, including those that are auto approved

+ Review and process addendums on a daily basis

+ Process right-to-cancel forms and customer cancellations

+ Verify and process all assigned finance contracts

+ Manage unapproved contracts and proactively work to move them toward approval

+ Identify errors, research issues, and resolve discrepancies as they arise

+ Collect and process payments submitted outside of the point of sale

+ Conduct remote or in-person check-ins with sales team as needed

+ Collaborate with various departments to ensure contracts move efficiently through the full lifecycle

+ Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with internal and external customers

Finance Process:

+ Support leadership of the Consumer Finance and Accounting functions at Feldco

+ Ensure compliance with company processes and applicable lending regulations

+ Manage loan originations, funding, collections, and customer support for assigned markets

+ Handle customer-facing finance responsibilities, including obtaining credit decisions, securing funding, and collecting required stipulations

+ Collaborate with lenders to request finance extensions, resolve disputes, and correct application or loan documentation issues

+ Assist management in training internal teams as needed

+ Provide financing support to customers, sales team, sales managers, and call center staff

+ Identify, suggest, and implement departmental process improvements

Administrative:

+ Proactively move “not approved” and “on hold” jobs through the contract workflow to ensure timely progression to the next step

+ Provide coverage for contract and finance coordination responsibilities during team PTO or leaves of absence

+ Regularly follow up on pending items to ensure timely resolution

+ Communicate effectively using all company communication tools, including email, text, phone, CRM, and in-person interactions

+ Able to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer.
