    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Engineer to ensure the safe operation of nuclear facilities and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in thermal-hydraulic analysis and severe accident modeling using RELAP and MELCOR, along with a deep understanding of nuclear safety protocols and risk assessment methodologies. Salary range from 130-180k.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

     

    5+ years of experience in nuclear safety analysis.

     

    Proficiency in RELAP5 and MELCOR; familiarity with other codes such as TRACE, RADTRAD, or GOTHIC

     

    Strong knowledge of thermal-hydraulic systems and severe accident phenomena.

     

    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills. Experience with DOE or NRC regulatory frameworks.

     

    Prior involvement in facility readiness assessments and implementation verification reviews.

     

    Active DOE Q or L clearance (or eligibility).
