    Job Description

    An international Am Law Top 50 law firm with 15 offices across major financial centers worldwide is looking to hire a Microsoft 365 SME Trainer. The firm provides comprehensive legal services in litigation, corporate transactions, regulatory matters, and arbitration, serving clients across virtually every industry.     We’re hiring a Microsoft SUPER Trainer to lead our Microsoft 365 productivity consulting program. This role will be hybrid remote and onsite 1-2 days onsite in NYC, DC or Chicago. You will guide teams end‑to‑end across the productivity stack, design and run train‑the‑trainer programs, and create short‑form digital content that shows people how to get work done—fast (e.g., “how to run meetings with Copilot,” “turn on Copilot,” “share and co‑author in Loop,” “automate approvals in Power Automate”). The emphasis is on use‑case driven training, not feature tours.

     

    What you’ll do

     

    -Design & deliver Microsoft 365 training across enterprise apps (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Loop, Power Platform, Copilot for Microsoft 365), anchored in real business scenarios and outcomes.

     

    -Build and run a “Train the Trainer” program to upskill internal trainers and champions to confidently teach Microsoft 365 from a use‑case perspective (not just “this is Excel” but rather give them innovative ways to work smarter using tools in this toolkit).

     

    -Create short‑form content (30–120 seconds micro‑videos, step cards, quick tips, annotated screen captures) that solves a specific task: “set up a Teams meeting with Copilot,” “capture action items in OneNote and sync to Planner,” “publish a SharePoint news post,” “Power Automate approval flow in 2 minutes.” The client is not looking for long classes or 10–30 min videos.

     

    -Coach teams on best‑practice workflows (meeting preparation, notes & decisions, task handoffs, file governance, chat-to-doc transitions, channel organization, Copilot prompts) to boost adoption and measurable productivity.

     

    -Partner with internal communications to publish content and updates on SharePoint/intranet; make light edits and manage tickets for content placement (no SharePoint coding).

     

    -Assess team maturity, propose an initial 6‑month upskilling plan, and then join delivery squads to embed best practices and reinforce habits in daily work.

     

    -Listen, observe, and suggest practical improvements to meetings, documentation, and automation—providing productive suggestions tailored to each team’s context.

    Example of Success metrics (KPIs) you would handle:

    -Adoption lift across target apps (e.g., Teams channel usage, SharePoint page views, Power Automate runs).

     

    -Meeting efficiency improvements (decisions captured, tasks created, summaries shared).

     

    -Content engagement (views, completions, feedback).

     

    -Trainer enablement (# trainers certified/validated; session quality scores).

     

    Helpdesk reduction in “how‑to” tickets for common tasks.

    Compensation:

    $53/hr to $65/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

     

    Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.     Skills and Requirements

     

    - 7+ years of experience in training and Microsoft Office 365

     

    - Hands‑on expertise across Microsoft 365 and Copilot for Microsoft 365

     

    - Training craftsmanship: experience architecting curricula, write clear step‑by‑step guides, and produce short, snackable content that drives action

     

    - previous experience training trainers as well as users - Microsoft 365 / Power Platform certs (e.g., MS‑900, PL‑900, PL‑100/200/400, SC‑900/SC‑300, AZ‑900).

     

    - Evidence of train‑the‑trainer delivery and microlearning content portfolio
