Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a **Configuration and Database Management Specialist** to join our team and provide support to facilitate operations on a critical infrastructure and services program. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/modernize. The ideal candidate will be located in the National Capital Region.
Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by Q3/Q4 of 2026.
The **Configuration and Database Management Specialist** responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the configuration and database management activities within the program. Maintains configuration management databases (CMDB), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of configuration items, and supporting the implementation of configuration management processes. Assists with database administration tasks, ensuring data quality, performing routine maintenance, and supporting performance tuning efforts. The Configuration and Database Management Specialist will work closely with IT and development teams to resolve issues, implement changes, and ensure that configuration and database management practices align with organizational standards.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors degree and 5 years or in lieu of degree 4 more years of relevant work experience.
or Masters degree and 3 years or in lieu of degree 4 more years of relevant work experience.
One of the following certifications: Certified Network Defender, SecurityX/ CASP , CCSP, Cloud , CSSLP, GDSA, GSEC, CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GICSP.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
