The Physical Therapist will work as a member of the Physical Therapy service line within the OrthoNY Medical Practice consisting of Orthopedic, Spine, Sports Medicine and Pain Management physicians. Treatment often begins with a thorough evaluation, leading to tailored exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular retraining, and education. We specialize in conditions affecting the hip, spine, shoulder, foot, ankle, hand, and wrist, with coordinated support from OrthoNY surgeons and pain specialists as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions with patients, colleagues, physicians, and all visitors to the practice;
+ Performs comprehensive patient evaluations and develops individualized plan of care in an energetic outpatient physical therapy setting;
+ Provides hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education to support optimal recovery;
+ Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed to ensure positive outcomes;
+ Collaborates with patients and colleagues, including Physical Therapist Assistants, to provide cohesive and well-coordinated care;
+ Maintains accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in the EMR in accordance with regulatory and practice standards;
+ Supports a positive clinic environment by contributing to team morale and patient experience
+ Other responsibilities as designated by the manager.
Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-3 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic setting preferred however, new graduates are encouraged to apply!
+ Current unrestricted New York State Physical Therapy license;
+ Experience with a wide range of patient age groups and diagnoses;

+ Time management and organization capabilities.

+ Travel between our offices may be required depending on staffing and needs of the clinics. Reliable transportation is essential
