Art Fellow
Huntsman Cancer Institute invites applications for a unique position to support the process of overseeing the display and upkeep of an exceptional collection of art.

Responsibilities
Duties include:
+ Assist with process of creating education materials about art.
+ Act as intermediary between art curators and HCI administration.
+ Schedule regular check ins with all relevant parties of the art education exhibit team.
+ Manage all relevant documentation required to keep projects on track for completion
+ Reply to questions related to art from HCI staff.
+ Assist with public inquiries regarding art including inquiries about art donations,
+ Maintain digital and physical archival information and perform annual inventories of the art.
+ Assist with planning and execution of a large-scale art installation at a new facility, ensuring entries in the collections database are accurate and up to date.
+ Research artists and objects to help inform connections to the building project and surrounding community.

Minimum Qualifications
Preferences
An undergraduate or graduate student or early-career applicant with interests in art curation and art education, particularly in a medical setting. The successful candidate will possess excellent written communication and organizational skills, a willingness to learn, can work independently under minimal supervision, and can effectively research best practices, implement ideas, and make recommendations.
