Job Description
General Purpose
Operate and maintain line equipment for the product runs that meet established production standards needed for maximum efficiency and quality standards.
Shift Available: 2nd Shift 2pm to complete. Mon-Fri (Weekend work as needed)

Job Duties and Responsibilities
+ Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock assigned production line or station
+ Maintain equipment in full operational status by making adjustments to equipment
+ Ensure operation of equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions and notifying the proper individuals when needed for preventative maintenance or issues needing attention
+ Maintain quality by observing operations and adjusting with speed controls and troubleshooting
+ Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations
+ Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
+ Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
+ Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements
Education and Experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Production or general work experience preferred
+ Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
+ Able to effectively work in a team environment
+ Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
+ Able to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
+ Bilingual Preferred but, not required
