Overview
Position Overview:
Publicis Re:Sources is seeking an analytical and organized intern to work closely with the organization’s data privacy legal team. This is a part-time position, 10 hours per week, based at our offices at 35 W. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in privacy law and project management by working on real-world privacy challenges within the advertising industry.
There are **two positions available** : one starting immediately upon hire and another starting May 2026.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Project Management:** Assist in managing privacy-related projects, including scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion.
+ **Research:** Conduct in-depth research on data protection laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
+ **Summaries:** Prepare clear and concise summaries of research findings to support the legal team’s decision-making processes.
+ **Documentation:** Assist in drafting and reviewing privacy policies, procedures, and compliance documents.
+ **Collaboration:** Work closely with the legal team and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
+ **Support:** Provide general administrative support to the privacy legal team as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ Currently pursuing a juris doctor (JD) degree at a local law school
+ Strong research and analytical skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented and highly organized.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Familiarity with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
+ Proficient using Westlaw and other legal research tools
