    Brief Description of Duties:

    SUNY Morrisville is seeking a temporary college conduct coordinator to manage student conduct cases, ensuring fair and educational resolution processes, and handle administrative duties like record-keeping, report writing, and data collection. Key responsibilities include investigating incidents, holding resolution meetings, developing educational programs, collaborating with other departments, maintaining accurate records in Maxient, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and university policies.

    Core responsibilities

    + Case management: Receive, investigate, and assign student conduct referrals and conduct resolution meetings or hearings.

    + Adjudication: Administer the student conduct process in a fair, impartial, and educational manner, while maintaining accurate records.

    + Policy and procedure: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training related to student conduct and academic integrity.

    + Education and prevention: Develop and lead initiatives to promote integrity, civility, and all behavioral standards.

    + Collaboration: Work with other university departments and offices, such as Title IX, Residential Life, University Police, and Academic Affairs, to ensure consistent and aligned responses to issues.

    + Reporting and analysis: Maintain accurate case records, gather data on typesa of cases, recidivism, types of students involved, etc. Write and submit annual reports including department, Clery, VAWA, Campus Hazing, etc.

    Job Requirements:

    Minimum Qualifications

    + include a BA Degree and at least 2 years of full-time, professional experience in higher education and experience working with a diverse college student population. Understanding of Maxient, knowledge of student conduct principles/laws/best practices, strong communication skills, and ability to handle sensitive information.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Master's degree in College Student Personnel or Higher Education Administration, previous experience working in an educationally based Student Conduct Office in a college setting, knowledge and experience working with Title IX, Title VI, CLERY. and an understanding of student development and student learning theories.
