**_Missouri Baptist Hospital_** has an opening for an Physician Services Assistant. This position supports Directors within the Physician Services and Diagnostic Services teams. Ideal candidates will have experience in meeting scheduling and preparation and be comfortable with the MS Office Suite including EXCEL and Power Point.
+ 40 hours a week
+ Monday - Friday between the hours of 7a-5p
+ Must be detail oriented and posses strong communication skills
Overview
**Missouri Baptist Medical Center** , an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

The Physician Services/Business Development department supports the needs of the Medical Staff and provides a single point of contact. Our goals include closely aligning members of the Medical Staff with Missouri Baptist as well as physicians not on staff with Missouri Baptist through promotion of services and physician expertise, providing continuing medical education, developing and promoting a work comp panel of physicians. In addition, our staff works with outlying hospitals and their medical staffs to bring physician services to the local community and provide critical linkages for needed health care services with Missouri Baptist. As a business development department, our staff supports service lines throughout the hospital in working to grow volumes through physician strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Assist with the coordination of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program ensuring Missouri State Medical Association (MSMA) accreditation is maintained. Provides Administrative Support for the Director of Business Development & Physician Services, Director of Diagnostic Services, and Physician Services Team. .
Responsibilities
+ Provides general administrative support for the program. This includes but is not limited to ensuring compliance for MBMC as it relates to Ntracts contract management, physician expense tracking (STARK compliance), and Medical Director/Chief timesheets
+ Provides administrative support for multiple Directors, as well as, multiple PSAs.
+ Coordinates and assists with events including physician and employee events.
+ Coordinates and administers all administrative activities for the Medical Staff Association.
+ Coordinates continuing medical education for physicians.
