Job Summary and Qualifications
Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor
Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for a Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor. As a Supervisor, you will supervise and perform duties directly involved with the technical procedures and ensure the smooth operation of the department. You must be able to work in a technical capacity, able to assume all duties encountered by a staff technologist.
We prioritize patient care. Your tasks and responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:
+ Assume responsibility for patient flow and all other patient care issues while ensuring both employee and patient safety
+ Collaborate and coordinate the patient’s care including discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge with other members of the health care team
+ Assist with the orientation, coaching and education of staff within Diagnostic Imaging
+ Appropriately allocate staff who are qualified and competent based on approved staffing patterns, staff capabilities, patient populations and technology
+ Assist in evaluation of staff
+ Mediate personnel issues in department
+ Establish and maintain an ethical working relationship and good rapport with physicians, hospital staff and vendors
+ Participate in on-call schedule as assigned
Qualifications
+ Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers; Trained in a hospital program
+ Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
+ Three (3) to five (5) years technical experience required; Two (2) years as a Supervisor preferred, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
+ Current ARRT certification
+ Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
+ Management/planning skills
+ Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds

We have heart, vascular, behavioral health and obstetrics services. Our obstetrics services include a NICU and maternal fetal medicine. We offer ER 24/7 facilities to the surrounding areas for emergency services. We have been recognized as a leapfrog grade ‘A’ for patient safety. We are an advanced certified primary stroke center. We have earned the Joint Commission’s gold seal for total hips and total knees certification. Our oncology program is an accredited community cancer program.
