    Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician 1 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 1, you will be part of the maintenance support team supporting building operations and ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Facilities Technician 1

    **Location:** Coral Gables, FL

    Pay Range: $22/hour

    **Shift:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Monitor the facility to ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance

    + Troubleshoot power, HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical systems

    + Perform general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and vendor management

    + Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed

    + Assist with moving office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or GED required

    + 0-2 years of hands-on technician experience preferred

    + Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance

    + Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
