    Data Technology Program Lead

     

    Status: Full-Time

     

    Hours: Monday–Friday; 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

     

    Pay/Salary: $73,350–$80,000

    What You'll Do:

    Responsibilities of the Data Technology Program Lead include, but are not limited to:

    + Deliver engaging instruction for two Data Technology classes.

    + Develop, update, and maintain curriculum aligned with industry and accreditation standards.

    + Oversee daily program operations, ensuring qualified staffing and high-quality instruction.

    + Prepare budget requests, manage program budgets, and handle approved purchasing of supplies and equipment.

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for program operations, faculty, and students.

    + Prepare accreditation documents and ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation requirements.

    + Track and report student completion, placement, and licensure outcomes.

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with local companies that employ Data Analysts or need data-driven skill sets.

    + Plan, lead, and document annual advisory board meetings with industry partners.

    + Grade student work and provide ongoing feedback and support.

    + Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and industry trends.

    + Monitor student progress and attendance; develop Student Success Plans when appropriate.

    + Track and file student Completion and Placement reports quarterly.

    What We're Looking For:

    We're seeking professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to excellence. Successful candidates will have:

     

    + Education: A high school diploma and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field are required.

    + Experience: A minimum of three years of work experience; educational or leadership experience is preferred.

    + Technical Skills: Proficiency with advanced spreadsheets, SQL, Python, R for Data Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI. Strong understanding of statistics and probability, data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, machine learning concepts, programming, and data storage/querying. Additional knowledge in manufacturing analytics, material science, technical writing, root cause analysis, constraints theory, or predictive maintenance is a plus.

    + Industry Knowledge & Competencies: Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and collaboration skills, and awareness of current industry trends and tools.

    + Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in time management and organization to efficiently manage program operations, student records, and instructional responsibilities.

    + Attention to Detail: Ability to track student progress, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
