Overview:
Deliver strong project leadership through project initiation, planning, implementation, and closeout phases. Develop clear project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and Appropriation Request (AR) documentation. Act as the sites Capital COE subject matter expert. Develop and deliver concise project presentations to plant and division leadership to obtain project funding. Lead, coach, and train project leads at the site as needed. May encompass job duties in facilities, equipment, and manufacturing disciplines. Manage capital and expense project portfolios for the manufacturing site using Planview Portfolios application. Lead five-year planning process for capital, project expense, and experimental/development budgets. Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establish goals to meet objectives. Providing guidance to project leads to achieving goals in accordance with established policies. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules. Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s). Frequently interacts with project managers, customers and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Interactions normally involve matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
+ Lead all phases of capital projects, including initiation, planning, implementation, and closeout.
+ Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and Appropriation Request (AR) documentation.
+ Develop comprehensive business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and alignment with strategic objectives, to support project funding and decision-making.
+ Serve as the site’s Capricorn subject matter expert (SME).
+ Deliver project presentations to plant and division leadership for funding approval.
+ Coach, train, and guide project leads to enhance project management capabilities.
+ Manage capital and expense project portfolios using Planview Portfolios or similar tools.
+ Oversee five-year planning for capital, expense, and experimental/development budgets.
+ Monitor project performance metrics and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and senior management to ensure project success.
+ Recommend and implement policy changes to improve project and portfolio management processes.
+ Ensure compliance with corporate policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
+ Provide technical oversight for facilities, equipment, and manufacturing-related projects.
**Required Skills** :
+ Bachelors degree in engineering, business or related field
+ 5+ years experience in manufacturing environment
+ Expertise in planning, execution, budgeting, and resource allocation for capital projects.
+ Knowledge of Problem Solving tools, such as: DMAIC, MEE, error proofing, KT.
+ Skilled in developing business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and budget management.
+ Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop project teams.
+ Understanding of facilities, equipment, manufacturing processes, and compliance standards.
+ Strong analytical skills to identify risks and implement effective solutions.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Planview Portfolios) and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Results-oriented with a high commitment to achieving goals.
+ Flexible and able to manage shifting priorities, uncertainty, and change.
+ Collaborative across organizational boundaries and teams.

The range for this position is $110,477.00 - $151,906.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
