As a **Security Officer - Logistics Site Access Entry and Patrol** in **Newville, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and remain visible throughout your shift. What You'll Do:

+ Assist with access control procedures to authorized personnel and visitors at logistics and distribution locations.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and loading docks to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any irregularities.

+ Document and report any observed irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support a secure environment.

+ Assist during emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
