Contract Phlebotomist – Assignment to 2/24/2026
Pay Rate: $28–$35 per hour (based on experience)

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate **Phlebotomist** for a short-term, 4-week contract role. If you’re confident in your blood draw technique, bring excellent patient-facing skills, and thrive in a clinical environment, this opportunity is a great way to put your expertise to work.
**MUST be a CA Certified CPT/Phlebotomist
What You’ll Do
Patient Interaction
+ Greet patients warmly, verify identity, and explain procedures to help ease any anxiety.
Blood Collection
+ Perform safe and accurate venipuncture and capillary punctures for diagnostic testing, donations, or transfusions.
Specimen Handling
+ Label, process, store, and prepare specimens for transport according to strict laboratory standards.
Safety & Compliance
+ Follow all safety protocols, infection control procedures, and maintain a sterile work environment.
Record Keeping
+ Document patient information and specimen details accurately, often using EMR systems.
Equipment Management
+ Maintain clean, stocked, and properly functioning phlebotomy equipment.

+ Strong technical skills in venipuncture and capillary collection
+ Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
+ Clear and professional communication skills
+ Compassionate, calm bedside manner
+ Strong organizational abilities
+ Knowledge of infection control and proper blood handling procedures
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma/GED
+ CPT Certification/Phlebotomist Certification

**Pay Details:** $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
