What’s in this Assembler position for you?
+ **Pay:** $17.73 + $0.50 shift differential = **$** **18.23/hour**
+ **Shift:** 2nd Shift — Monday–Thursday, **2:15 PM – 12:45 AM**
+ _Possible overtime: Saturdays, 2:15 PM – 12:45 AM_
+ **Training:** 1st Shift, **6:00 AM – 2:30 PM**
+ **Assignment Type:** Temp to Hire

Responsibilities for an Assembler include but are not limited to:
+ Obtain work orders from the lead person.
+ Check the bill of materials for description, quantity, and required parts.
+ Read routing instructions and report labor against the proper sequence.
+ Review the work order for special instructions and ask for clarification if unclear.
+ Request a production assembly drawing from the lead person, supervisor, or inspector when required.
+ Inspect all parts during use.
+ Inspect flanges (joint between body and cover) 100% using a .0015” feeler gauge—gauge cannot go deeper than 1/8” max.
+ Check for porosity, torn threads, paint defects, missing features, etc., according to instructions.
+ Lubricate all indicated threaded areas.
+ Remove nonconforming or questionable material to designated areas for evaluation.
+ Communicate any assembly issues (bad parts, equipment, unclear instructions, etc.) to the lead person, supervisor, or inspector.
+ Clean work area and return all consumables and special tools to proper locations after completing work orders.
+ Use downtime constructively: fill bins with consumables, clean your area, and prepare for the next assignment.
Candidates for Assembler must meet the following requirements:
+ **1+ year Manufacturing Assembler experience required.**
+ Ability to read work orders, follow instructions, and perform quality checks.
+ Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with leads and supervisors.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to stand during shift hours.
+ Perform repetitive tasks using manual dexterity.
+ Lift, move, and handle parts as required for assembly tasks.

**Pay Details:** $18.23 per hour
