AR Collections Specialist
**Location:** Hybrid- Remote (with 1–2 weeks of required in-person training)
**Schedule** : Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking detail-oriented, results-driven AR Collections Specialists to support the collections process. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, drive timely collections, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with internal teams to improve cash flow and reduce aged receivables. The ideal candidate has strong collections experience, excellent communication skills, and solid Excel proficiency—including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage a designated portfolio of accounts and perform daily follow-ups on past-due balances via email, phone, and customer portals.
+ Prioritize outreach using aging schedules and documented risk indicators; maintain accurate documentation of all activities.
+ Partner with Cash Application teams to resolve misapplied payments, short pays, remittance discrepancies, and other payment issues.
+ Investigate and resolve chargebacks, refunds, pricing errors, and credit-related discrepancies.
+ Maintain and analyze AR aging reports using Excel, leveraging VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, and data validation.
Requirements:
+ 3+ years of AR collections experience required.
+ Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
+ Strong communication, attention to detail, and professionalism.
**Pay Details:** $30.00 per hour
