Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an assembler, where you will support the assembly and material handling teams in production and product packaging. You will utilize hand and power tools to perform assemblies on an assembly line, following work procedures to complete builds. This role also includes training in shipping and receiving, as well as acquiring skills to support the warehouse and materials team responsible for managing inventory and supplying the production team.

Responsibilities

+ Perform manual and power tool assemblies on an assembly line.

+ Support robotics assembly, material movement, and component testing.

+ Collect data and conduct visual inspections.

+ Track and reconcile inventory.

+ Follow work instructions accurately for each assembly job.

+ Train in shipping and receiving processes, and support warehouse operations.

+ Work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.

+ Learn and adapt to new duties with minimal supervision.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using various hand tools for assembling and repairing large mechanical assemblies.

+ Manual dexterity and physical strength to assemble, install, and test components up to 50 lbs.

+ Experience with basic power tools and ability to follow work instructions.

+ Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

+ Capacity to learn new duties and work with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles such as 5S and Kaizen.

+ Experience with manufacturing execution systems.

+ Certificate or degree in electro-mechanical fields.

+ Ability to use pallet jacks and any shipping experience.

+ Background in assembly or warehouse operations (picking, stocking, material handling).

+ Ability to read work instructions and experience with tools like torque screwdrivers and drills.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Westborough, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
