    Aerotek is currently hiring for mechanical assembly technicians in the greater Baltimore, MD area!

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will be responsible for assemblingequipment by following blueprints and assembly procedures. You will be instrumental in the final system assembly and testing of systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are met.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble equipment by following blueprints and assembly procedures.

    + Conduct final system assembly and testing of systems.

    + Utilize hand/power tools, shears, brakes, saws, milling machines, and other fabrication equipment.

    + Apply established safety and quality standards, processes, and procedures.

    + Report any part or equipment defects to supervisors for prompt resolution.

    + Read pneumatic schematics and run airlines.

    + Conserve resources and supplies to minimize waste.

    + Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform housekeeping duties as required.

    + Adhere to the attendance policy.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in assembly, installation, and mechanics.

    + Knowledge of motors, gears, and mechanical wiring.

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools.

    + Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical procedures.

    + Basic math and communication skills.

    + Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Self-management skills and the ability to work independently.

    + Capacity to work beyond an 8-hour workday and lift materials up to 48 pounds.
