Job Title: Assistant Project Manager** **Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting project development by determining time frames, costs, procedures, and staffing requirements. You will be responsible for organizing and managing submittal documents, purchasing necessary supplies, and ensuring seamless coordination between departments. You will also maintain project documentation, participate in project review meetings, and assist in preparing comprehensive project reports.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in developing project proposals by determining time frames, costs, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
+ Work with the documentation group to prepare and organize required submittal documents.
+ Purchase parts, supplies, and technical instrumentation according to specifications and system design.
+ Act as liaison for inter-department coordination and manage day-to-day operations for assigned projects.
+ Maintain project documentation and update with change orders.
+ Participate in project review meetings with contractors and customer representatives.
+ Review change orders and update pricing to maintain profitability and adhere to budget constraints.
+ Assist with preparation of project reports for management, general contractors, customers, and engineering firms.
+ Maintain Job Hazard Analysis.
+ Fill in for Project Manager in meetings when needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, project management, engineering, or related field.
+ 3 years of full-time experience in architecture, pre-construction, construction, or related fields.
+ Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Ability to apply technological solutions to planning or implementation assignments.
+ OSHA 30 certification

This is a Contract position based out of Lewisville, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
