Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description
The role involves storing and moving materials around the warehouse. The candidate will handle shipping, receiving, and cycle counting and must be comfortable using inventory tracking software. Experience with forklifts is required, and certification will be provided by the company. The position involves dealing with frozen food and requires working in cold environments of 24 degrees. Effective communication with the manufacturing team is essential to supply them with the needed product and to move the product from the finished line into storage or shipping.
Responsibilities
+ Store and move materials around the warehouse.
+ Handle shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.
+ Use inventory tracking software proficiently.
+ Operate forklifts (certification provided by the company).
+ Communicate effectively with the manufacturing team.
+ Move products from the finished line into storage or shipping.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in forklift operation.
+ Ability to work in cold storage environments.
+ Experience maintaining inventory levels.
+ Knowledge of material handling, inventory, and order picking.
+ Proficiency with picking, pallet jack, and sit-down forklift.
+ Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
+ Knowledge of warehouse systems.
+ Experience working with stock.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portsmouth, NH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
