Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Associate where you will play a crucial role in our warehouse department. This all-encompassing position involves handling shipping and receiving tasks, picking, packing, and operating sit-down forklifts. You will be part of a dynamic environment with opportunities for cross-training in welding and machining.

Responsibilities

+ Perform shipping and receiving tasks for the warehouse department.

+ Pick and pack products efficiently and accurately.

+ Complete necessary paperwork related to shipping and receiving.

+ Operate sit-down forklifts safely and effectively.

+ Maintain and organize warehouse inventory using RF scanners.

+ Perform general labor tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and building pallets/crates.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach trucks.

+ Proven skills in shipping and receiving operations.

+ Proficiency in packing and inventory management.

+ Ability to use RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a production environment is advantageous.

+ Willingness to take on general labor tasks.

+ Comfort with a variety of warehouse duties including cleaning and organizing.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean and organized manufacturing floor, offering plenty of space. It is quiet and well-lit, with a collaborative team currently consisting of about 15 people, projected to grow to 25 by the end of the year. The working hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, and the atmosphere is conducive to focused and productive work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolingbrook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
