Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk** **Job Description
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will read, interpret, and follow associated documentation to accomplish shipping and receiving tasks with minimal supervision. The role involves recognizing products and components to prevent incorrect storage, receiving, or shipment, and using all equipment within the work area including scales, weight charts, and packing equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Read, interpret, and follow documentation for shipping and receiving tasks.
+ Recognize products and components to ensure correct storage, receiving, or shipment.
+ Use equipment such as scales, weight charts, and packing equipment.
+ Complete necessary documentation including stock adjustments and receivers.
+ Operate fork trucks to load and unload trucks.
+ Assist the QC department with counting and identifying incoming entries using the AS400 system.
+ Perform repetitive tasks maintaining high attention to quality and productivity.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.
+ Experience in inventory control and logistics.
+ Ability to manage document control effectively.
+ Experience in kitting, inventory, and picking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma required.
+ Previous shipping/receiving experience is a plus.
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment safely.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
