• Application Engineer Intern - Summer

    The Application Engineer Intern will assist in configuring and supporting software functions for web-based, internally hosted applications. This role provides hands-on experience in application development and system management.

    About the role

    + Support the design, development, and testing of application changes under supervision

    + Assist in configuring and managing multiuser systems

    + Help improve and automate processes, including data retrieval

    + Maintain application integrity and functionality with guidance

    + Contribute to developing simple automation scripts to reduce manual tasks

    + Participate in analyzing and proposing application changes to meet business needs

    + Learn system details and help educate end users on best practices

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Self-directed approach

    + Ability to communicate effectively

    + Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Exposure to scripting or programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic, PowerShell, .NET, C#) through coursework or projects

    + Experience with learning automation and application configuration

    + Experience with vendor applications (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday, Varicent, etc.)

    + Strong problem-solving and communication skills
