3rd Shift Mix Room Operator

$23-24/hr

**Location:** Hopkins, MN

+ **3rd Shift:** 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Sun–Thu)

About the Role

As a Mix Room Operator, you’ll play a key role in blending and preparing batches according to precise recipes. You’ll ensure quality, safety, and accuracy while working in a clean, temperature-controlled GMP environment.

What You’ll Do

+ Follow recipe instructions to issue materials by lot and mix/blend batches accurately.

+ Maintain proper inventory lots and ingredient storage conditions.

+ Operate a refractometer, record brix readings, and perform organoleptic testing on each batch.

+ Use WMS to pick and stage batches by FIFO; report discrepancies to management.

+ Complete CIP circuits, including chemical checks and SSOP steps.

+ Safely operate all mix and blending equipment, including forklifts, per SOPs.

+ Report mechanical issues promptly to the Mix Room Manager or Maintenance team.

What We’re Looking For

+ **Experience:** 6+ months of machine operation (GMP environment preferred).

+ **Physical Ability:** Lift 50+ lbs occasionally; bend, twist, crouch regularly.

+ **Skills:** Strong communication (oral, written, reading) and ability to learn systems like WMS, Red Zone, and DEACON.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkins, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
