Forklift Operator $17/HR

Job Description:

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our warehouse team at our state-of-the-art facility. Our operations involve container management and racking systems, handling a variety of containers and racks, including a mix of racks and totes.

Responsibilities:

+ Operate and maintain the washing machine to clean plastic totes, ensuring they are sorted, staged, and scanned.

+ Work on process lanes to manage inbound containers and racks, including removing manufacturer tags and using a hand scanner.

+ Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers; ability to remain on your feet throughout the shift.

+ Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, ensuring correct containers are shipped according to paperwork.

Essential Skills:

+ Minimum 6 months of recent experience in labor or forklift operation.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Willingness to work up to 10 hours of overtime and Saturdays as needed.

+ Must pass a forklift test, demonstrating proficiency in maneuvering and handling pallets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is beneficial.

+ Familiarity with hand scanners and basic repair tools is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
