Job Description:
Iowa State University is seeking a Customer Relations Coordinator II to join Printing Services, a campus-wide provider of digital printing, quick-turn production, and customer support. While this position will provide support to 2 campus locations, the Printing & Publications Building and the Student Innovation Center Quick Print Center
Your primary responsibility as a Customer Relations Coordinator II is to oversee the day-to-day operations and service delivery at the Quick Print Center. In addition to guiding customers through their print projects, coordinating order details, and ensuring smooth production workflows, this role will also supervise a small team of employees, providing direction, support, and training to ensure efficient and high-quality service at the Quick Print Center.

What You’ll Do
+ Assist customers by greeting walk-ins, responding to calls and emails, and helping them select the best print solutions
+ Guide project planning by explaining timelines, pricing, materials, and production capabilities
+ Manage order details by entering accurate job specifications, preparing estimates, and tracking projects through production
+ Coordinate timelines with internal production teams and external providers to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
+ Support production work by assisting with print and finishing tasks and verifying completed jobs for accuracy
+ Maintain daily operations by monitoring supplies, organizing work areas, and reporting equipment service needs
+ As a Working Supervisor, you will oversee staff and student workers by managing schedules, delegating tasks, and providing on-the-job training. Your leadership will ensure efficient operations and high-quality service at the Quick Print Center.

Level Guidelines
+ Career-level position demonstrating proficiency and knowledge of related competencies
+ Works under direct to general supervision and may receive guidance on more complex assignments
+ Follows established procedures for work assignments, and completes assignments which are semi-routine and may be atypical in nature
+ Applies thorough knowledge to respond to inquiries and requests
+ Able to resolve most problems and issues and respond to requests without escalation
+ Provides guidance to students
+ May provide supervision to one to two other staff or lead a small work team
