Job Title: Printing Press Operator** **Job Description
As a Printing Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and making ready various printing machines. You will troubleshoot machine and quality issues, assist with maintenance, and ensure adherence to quality specifications. Your role involves collaborating with colleagues across shifts, leading a work crew to meet production goals, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
+ Set up, adjust, and prepare machines for operation.
+ Troubleshoot machine and quality issues.
+ Assist with maintenance and machine setups.
+ Complete required product and process audits.
+ Exchange information with shifts prior to and following work shifts.
+ Adhere to quality specifications and identify enhancements to improve efficiencies.
+ Ensure production schedule output aligns with timeframes.
+ Lead work crew effectively to meet production goals.
+ Attend team meetings.
+ Differentiate colors accurately.
+ Train new team members to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area.
+ Enforce compliance with all company policies, including GMP, AIB, and safety standards.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with printing press operations and troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in SAP for documentation purposes.
+ Ability to operate old industrial press machines and perform minor maintenance.
+ Skills in quality checks and precise loading of machines.
+ Experience with press brake operations.
+ Ability to differentiate colors accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience operating press machines from the early 90s.
+ Familiarity with highly automated machines with older machinery and software.
+ Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
