    Job Title: Traveling Industrial Coating Foreman** **Job Description

     

    Supervise and coordinate coating crews on-site, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications. Perform and oversee surface preparation including blasting, grinding, and cleaning. Apply industrial coatings including epoxy, urethane, and other specialty systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain equipment and materials, ensuring readiness and proper usage. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members. Document work progress, quality checks, and incident reports. Train and mentor crew members in coating techniques and safety practices.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial coating, blasting, painting, or floor coating.

    + Leadership experience in a foreman or supervisory role.

    + Strong knowledge of coating systems, surface prep standards, and application techniques.

    + Ability to work long hours including weekends and overtime.

    + Willingness to travel extensively, adhering to a Friday–Monday schedule.

    + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    + Willingness to relocate to South Central Minnesota.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with industrial paint, spray guns, epoxy, polyurethane, and coatings.

    + Knowledge of painting and industrial painting techniques.

    Work Environment

    Work is predominantly indoors, with 95% of tasks occurring during facility shutdowns. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including long days and weekends, with extensive travel from Friday to Monday. Dress code adheres to safety standards, and proper attire is required for the work environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waseca, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
