Job Title: Automation Control Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Control Technician with strong skills in Ladder Logic and troubleshooting using RS Logix 5000. The role involves working with Bastian Robotics, palletizers, co-regulated machines, automated industrial press machines, and various types of PLCs. Experience with DC Drives, variable frequency drives, PLC and motor controls, and electrical phasing is essential. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics is also required.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair Bastian robotics, PLCs, and electrical issues with industrial press machines.
+ Work with PLC programming and maintain all types of electrical phasing.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Handle troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of hydraulics and pneumatics in industrial press machines.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in robotics and PLC programming.
+ Experience with AC/DC Drives, variable frequency drives, and motor controls.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
+ Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-year trade school degree or military training.
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience with industrial maintenance and PLCs.
+ Basic computer skills and the ability to learn SAP.

Work Environment
The facility is SQL regulated, manufacturing custom packages primarily from vinyl and cardboard for brands like Ziplock and Kellogg. The environment includes minimal use of plastic. Train tracks surround the plant, adding to its unique setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $87000.00/yr.
