Job Title: HVAC Technician – Chicago

Compensation: $40,000–$75,000 annually

What You’ll Do

+ Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems with accuracy and efficiency.

+ Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components.

+ Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system tune-ups.

+ Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with local codes.

+ Communicate clearly with homeowners, explaining findings and recommended solutions.

What You Bring

+ Strong proficiency in HVAC service, installation, diagnostics, and repair.

+ Solid troubleshooting and mechanical abilities.

+ Experience with sheet metal work.

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ EPA Section 608 Certification (required).

+ At least 2 years of residential HVAC experience.

+ NATE Certification (preferred but not required).

+ Experience with smart thermostats, home automation, or ductless mini-split systems (a plus).

+ Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge (a plus).

Your Work Environment

You’ll work Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with occasional weekend shifts. An on-call rotation is being finalized. This role involves traveling to residential homes throughout Chicago and its surrounding suburbs, offering variety in your day and the chance to build strong customer relationships.
