Schedule: Monday-Thursday / 8:00am-5:00pm (32 Hours)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will perform phlebotomy and skin punctures following established protocols to ensure accurate specimen collection for diagnostic testing. You’ll play a critical part in maintaining specimen integrity and supporting timely, precise test results that impact patient care.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform venipuncture and skin punctures in accordance with clinical standards.
+ Collect and handle specimens properly to maintain viability and accuracy.
+ Complete clerical tasks including specimen identification, accessioning, and processing.
+ Support efficient and accurate test performance through adherence to protocols.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
+ Phlebotomy expertise with 1+ years of experience.
+ Proficient in venipuncture and specimen collection techniques.
+ Completion of a recognized Phlebotomy Training Program.
+ ASCP Certification preferred (not required).
+ Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
+ Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Team-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient care.
Work Environment
+ Primary care clinic setting.
+ Approximately 25–30 collections per day.
+ Collaborative, patient-focused team environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
